Paintings for Charity

 

The following paintings were painted by members of Barnet Guild of Artists in conjunction with "Barnet Gallery" the local artist materials shop. Mr. Nitan Shah, the proprietor of the Barnet Gallery is currently a committee member of the local branch of The Lions International, and has arranged a charity auction to raise money for their charity Sight First II. The paintings were done by members of the Tuesday afternoon group of Guild members , using materials provided by Barnet Gallery.

Five of the paintings were raffled at a special Bollywood Valentine Nite event on Saturday 16th February. This was organised by the Lions Club of Region 3 District 105A and held at the Harrow Leisure Centre. Over 600 guests were present.

The remainder of the paintings will be auctioned later in the year at an event yet to be arranged.
